Investments can play a key role in your financial security plan. A mix of registered and non-registered savings can help achieve your goals.
Insurance is essential to any comprehensive financial security plan. It can protect you and your family from undue hardship.
Retirement planning today has taken on many new dimensions that never had to be considered by earlier generations.
Managing your finances is an important component to any financial security plan. Money management strategies help you manage your savings on a daily basis.
Asset allocation is the process of selecting a mix of asset classes that closely matches an investor’s financial profile in terms of their investment preferences and tolerance for risk.
Everyone has their own reason for gifting their assets or a portion of their income to charitable organizations. Some find comfort in helping others who are less fortunate, while others simply want to share their good fortune.
Todd Rustman serves as a Founder and Managing Partner of Clarity Capital Partners.
When you come from a family of teachers, some might consider it fate to end up as a professional financial advisor. Todd Rustman’s career path, however, was not quite that clear-cut as a youngster growing up in Missouri.
Things started to come into focus - quickly - during a summer job working at the school bus company his father owned. His dad handed him a broom and told him to take “the idiot stick” and start sweeping. It didn’t take long for the teenager to understand this was not how he wanted to live his future life.
Fortunately, Todd, a voracious reader, was also an exceptional student. He finished high school by landing a scholarship that took him out west, far from the world of maintenance garages and mechanics. He enrolled at Pepperdine University, graduating in 1992 and later going on to earn an MBA in International Business and Finance from Thunderbird University.
He put that advanced education to good use after college, joining Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, Ltd. before on moving to the institutional client side with PIMCO and, later, portfolio manager for HNW Private Clients through Mellon Private Asset Management. After four years with Mellon, and a year as vice president with Kayne Anderson Investment Management (prior to its sale), Todd founded Clarity Capital Partners in the fall of 2000.
Influenced by the teachings of readings of investment legends such as Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger, Todd remains true to his Midwest roots by simplifying complex and confusing financial constructs for his clients. His disciplined approach to wealth management aligns strategy with client objectives and timelines. He will reverse engineer desired outcomes, presenting options developed through quantitative data, analytics and related research generated from Clarity Capital’s deep bench of financial advisory partners and resources.
Todd has been named one of Orange Coast magazine's 5-Star Wealth Managers* annually from 2013-2018. His professional certifications include CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), and CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter) credentials .
Jackie Robinson once said, “Life is not a spectator sport.” Todd lives by that philosophy, serving as a co-founder of the Levendi Winery as well as maintaining an active role in Southern California civic and business groups. In addition to being a founding Board member of Gen-Next, he serves on the Board of the Gen-Next.
When he’s not inspiring others - or, even better, being inspired by them, Todd enjoys spending time with his family in Nellie Gail Ranch with wife Sherry and their children, Sierra and Cayden.
He currently holds the series 6 and 66 registrations as an Investment Advisor Representative with Clarity Capital Partners. He holds his series 7 as a registered representative with American Trust Investment Services, Inc.

Brittany serves as Managing Director of Clarity Capital Partners.
Creating wealth gives one options, something Brittany Slater-Gautreau was painfully short of as an adolescent growing up with a suddenly single mother who unexpectedly found herself working feverishly to make ends meet. If there was a better life ahead for young Brittany, she knew it would fall on her to build it. And in becoming an accomplished financial advisor she has achieved that goal, using sound fundamental planning principles and investment strategies to help her - and her clients - pursue their dreams.
When asked about her approach to wealth management, she will tell you it’s all about building legacy. Whether it’s an investment portfolio, business plan, retirement, or community service, the long-term perspective is the lens she looks through in making life’s most important decisions. That point-of-view comes from her mom, who taught her that whatever you choose to do at a given moment, you’ll have to face yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and live with the consequences.
Hard work is in Brittany’s DNA. It was handed down from her grandfather, whose legacy in the small town of Ferndale, Washington can be seen in all the real estate he owned - as well as the main road that bears the family name.
Brittany began her career in the financial services industry with an internship at the age of 17, ultimately advancing her career and becoming an Operations Manager. She graduated from Northwest University with a BA in Organizational Communication. After gaining her insurance license and FINRA registrations, she moved into Wealth Management. She currently holds the series 66 registration as an Investment Advisor Representative with Clarity Capital Partners. He holds his series 7 as a registered representative with American Trust Investment Services, Inc.
One of her practice focuses is working with entrepreneurial women to help them reach their financial goals - both professionally and personally. So many aspire to own a business and she is passionate about helping to put them on a path to secure the resources they need.
A model for servant-leadership, Brittany is involved with Compassion Int’l and has two “adopted” children she supports in Bolivia and Uganda. She is the Co-President of the Women Business Owners Group of Greater Seattle**, and the Membership Chair of the Woodinville Rotary**, as well as a member of GEN-NEXT Seattle** and ACG Seattle**.
Outside of Clarity, Brittany enjoys cooking, entertaining, yoga, fitness, traveling, and working on her family home in Woodinville with husband, Zach.
